Cisco is back at sc--wing its acquisitions. This time it’s Splunk. All open reqs are now taken away and now Cisco is trying to drive up attrition aggressively. What’s next take focal budget, stop dispensing coffee, maybe let’s stop garbage pickup in Santana Row. Ugh!!

Finally....the splunk purge has been a long time coming. So much duplication that needs to be cut.
Splunk was always a 'tech' acquisition, not a 'tech & talent' acquisition.
All open Webex reqs have also now been removed
@ch for a mere $28B, all of which was borrowed and where the revenue from Splunk cannot keep pace with the loan payments....wonderful decision, yet no one loses their job over it....shocking! lol
Crazy how Splunk was acquired and instantly put on starvation rations
Worst tech acquisition in the US in the last five years
If it is true that all open reqs are taken away, then this is a sign that LR is coming.
I joined through an acquisition a few years ago and this is exactly what happened. Positions that overlapped with greater Cisco slowly chipped away. Don’t believe what Cisco says: “we will leave you alone” bla bla bla. As frustrating as it is, it’s not going to get better, Cisco buys companies to pump the growth numbers.
Typical. When you are acquired by Cisco, you have a roughly 1 year honeymoon to merge your products with other Cisco gear in a profitable sales format. After that......it's chopping time. Been there, done that.
Is this for all depts?
