A lot of rumors circulating that IBM is asking RH to reduce staff. Apparently 08/11 is when they are deciding on this.

Have there been layoffs at Red Hat? I'm seeing several people on LinkdIn saying that they've left Red Hat.
@10w now that's IBM DEI working for you - selected females get moved to new positions but males get shown the door. If that is not outright discrimination at IBM, I don't know what else it can be called.
Heard about 3 managers in our division. No idea who though. Just email from on high.

A few white male middle managers got let go recently. The females got re-assigned to other positions.
I heard the managers are already aware of this. The list of affected people has been made. They will announce and proceed with the cuts on 08/11.

Did you see the picture Red Hat posted on Linkedin of their interns??? No white males. Mostly white women. Seriously????

True! Saw on a video on Youtube how IBM rewarded those who hired non-white males and, in some cases, fired those who did. Thats illegal.
Seeing a lot of stories about how IBM and Red Hat are hiding their DEI hiring and practices and trying to avoid hiring white males. So I think I know who they'll be laying off...
