Glad to see Dik Wagger is back. Best 3rd grade English in town. Please hit the “like” button on your post 14 more times! Mo--n has too much time on his hands and still unemployed.

Layoffs are coming in August. I don't think anyone other the ELT would know all the specifics. My manager has hinted at massive upcoming layoffs in my 1:1

The first and only time I invoked Cisco's 'Circuit' AI with a specific question, it gave me an answer for customer access only not employee access, which proved to be completely worthless to me.

Reality is 20% of the headcount could go away with no impact to the business (non-AI related). Too many clowns sitting on their hands looking for handouts and complaining about political garbage. Timing is ticking. Start packing.

Correction:
Cisco will layoff 8-14% and cite AI as the reason because they now sell AI voodoo.
the reasoning is simple.

"We are so advanced with AI that we have unlocked cost savings and operational efficiencies. We can prove it by LR'ing a bunch of our own people. Our AI junk is so good that we can now sell it to you in the form of AI-powered networking, AI-powered servers, routers, wifi, overpriced screens and other garbage. We also have AI-powered security tools to protect you from the weak security controls and technical debt present in all of our products. win-win!"
