looks like JF and DF are on the way out but they will soon be given the task to cleanup there own mess!!
Yes , this massive cleanup should include all the silicon vally duds that that have brought along.. and many many michigan jobs,, Sept is going to be painful ?

@ce They do this to protect the favored LLx when they know there will be cuts coming. They promote people / create positions at their same level but with few responsibilities or reports. Then when the cuts come they say oh look at how little those guys contribute, off with their heads. Saw this play out in 2008, 2019, 2020 and pretty much on a loop since 2020. Sad thing was how excited some people were to finally get tapped to be a LL6 after years of applying for positions. And then they were “hey why won’t the LL5 give me any responsibilities?”, and then they got laid off. All a long con.

@bs in my department, the balance between LLs and GSRs has been steadily shifting toward the LLs. Every other month, new bullsh-t LL5 or LL6 position gets created but when a GSR leaves, their position never gets backfilled.

GM has learned nothing. If they fired anyone toxic near the top, it was a coincidence or accident. Dont give them more credit then they deserve.

Not necessarily true at the Skunkworks. The Skunkworks holds a high bar on expectations per LL. Low performers have been subjected to a performance improvement plan and subsequently fired or quit. Numerous LL3 down to LL6 have met this fate. Unfortunately some are Teflon-coated and remain. I’m a GSR at the Skunkworks and it is frustrating to deal with.

It's the GSRs that pay the price....very few LLs are ever cut. I know of so many LL5s and 6s who've been at Ford for 20-30 years. The "leadership" at Ford is purposely designed to blame and point fingers at the GSR minions.

Ford never punished directors and chiefs for their incompetence and 5 years old decisions. I think that its only GM now that realized about the actual parasites and pesticides who change and destroy the culture. Lets see if Ford will figure it out and strip them off - > LL2, LL3 , LL4

Bill ford need to think about public ack of mistake of letting these people destroy the company culture and issue apology to employees they laidoff and banned for life.. he should alteast make public statement to take back those life time bans and encourage those people to apply for any suitable positions.
