White house talks about H1B but can't they see how XOM abuses L1 visas to bring bunch of BTC employees to fill IC and managerial roles in US and finally offshores those roles to BTC hurting the local economy .. why don't people report this to local senators/white house

This is absurd. Justifying an L1 visa isn’t easy, it requires specific skills and qualifications. If anything, those who come to the U.S. on an L1 likely bring value. That’s more than can be said for some early European immigrants who came here simply to escape poverty.

The direction is to offshore white collar engineering and low level manager jobs. Bring manufacturing jobs back? I don’t think so.
Yup. Just saw 3 more Indian’s show up. Only one of them was great to work with, no question there. The other two rerouted the offshored work to our team, I suppose they learned to be managers before they were brought here to layoff the next round in 2026.

This isn’t revelatory for any person who’s into facts. And no, WSJ isn’t going to report on it. Neither is the rest of the business press.
