Are we getting another Thanos snap?

Japan team was impacted too. However we have laws that mean companies cannot just lay employees off, so they are trying to get people to sign a voluntary resignation agreement.
Remember when they featured the cleaning lady (Marisol) in the 25th Anniversary video and they fired her a few weeks later because she was trying to raise money for her daughter’s medical expenses and someone higher up decided to be a Karen about it? That’s the kind of place Medidata is today.
Condolences to those who were impacted by these changes.
For those of us still here at Medidata, here is my piece of advice: start preparing your exit. Update your resumes/CVs. Get your minds in the right place. Scope out the job market. Set up alerts for jobs that relate to your skillsets. Prepare for interviews. Most of us dont have the means to leave immediately, otherwise, there'd be a mass exodus, but there are things that you can do now to set yourself up for success (and ultimately leave this company).
In the meantime, do what is minimally sufficient to retain your job. Clock in. Clock out. Do not give them a single extra minute of your time. This executive team doesn't deserve it. Their allegiance is not to you but to themselves and the French overlords. Anthony not even getting on camera to deliver his cold scripted message says it all.
Don't forget this executive team just recently took an all expenses paid trip to a swanky resort in Cabo. No hope for mdsol without regime change
@ey Dan Shannon
@dr who is Dan S.?
@dp they just do what they're told...
Medidata was a wonderful company to work for when Glenn & Tarek owned it. There's 0 loyalty since Dan S. was forced out. To anyone still there, don't think you're safe. It doesn't matter how many years you've worked there or how many hours you put in. Do yourself a favor and start looking now. It might just years to find a new position. Good luck all!
@OP confirmed impacted I hope they crash and burn most horrible leadership I’ve ever worked for, no transparency, lies, financial situation worse than they let on. I have never in my 20 years of work experienced the sh-t that goes on at Medidata. No one in senior leadership should be trusted they have ill intentions.
@av I’m out as well. I thought I would survive, but life goes on. Wish I could know who else was impacted.
I was on the survivors call... 5% of all employees and contractors, but no breakdown on departments, locations or FTE v contractor groups impacted.
Which departments? Oh no! I am so sorry.
Confirmed, mass layoff, was just impacted
It seems that you were supposed to get two emails: one email being the meeting invite itself. The second email being the webinar link to access the Zoom for the meeting. Did some of you only get one email?
@av maybe you need to accept the calendar invite first?
@av so 2 different sets of people are getting different sets of email invites? Oh no…..
@aj what if you are one of 9 who got an invite to hold the time but no invite to the actual meeting? And you know of others in the same boat???
There are always rumors about 'restructuring' but isn't this how it went down last year? My manager said my whole team was invited so...
