How about buying out the seniors? Get them out of here! You want a company to grow? Or do you want the same results from the same people month after month after month after year after year. Senior executives, senior directors, senior BOH, senior FOH.
Get fresh forward thinking. Let these people live their lives. Stop holding onto something that just isn’t working because you’re use to it. Hertz is not the be all end all.

It needs to be offered for all positions, not just some.
@ba Amazing! Take it and run if experienced and have a brain. Very few in this place of senior director and above level has a plan further than the immediate future, certainly nothing long term to grow. In fact, they all just blame the level above for not having a strategy, and dismiss any ideas that need major investment or different mindset. It’s an easy excuse and demonstrates how senior director and above have no accountability. Does director or president in your title, just mean manager at Hertz? It’s all incredibly sad as Hertz were innovators many moons ago, and we get left behind more every week that passes, particularly with the only plan being one that focusses on short term revenue. Once a customer is lost to a competitor or third party, whom we unbelievably pay commission to, it’s even harder and more expensive to convert back.
Some seniors should stay as they know how to run rental car.
They just did that. Huge payouts of 18?month severance packages for people that were over 50 with at least 10 years with the company.
