Your quote is pretty much how I remember it. If not exact, then pretty dang close. It's not made up or an opinion. It's a fact that Irani said basically that. Yet people give it a down vote simply because they don't like it. Feelings vs Facts.

Literally, every one of your posts has this word in it at least once. Is it some hip no vogue word for reserves or something? Grease, grease, grease all the time.

It's hard for the young ones to understand that Oxy isn't a daycare center. You either find the grease and add shareholder value or fail and reap the whirlwind.... A Lot of amazing employees were just sent packing at HESS. Most of them will find jobs because they are talented and found the grease. Can't say the same for Oxy. Save your money...

Sorry, Oxy is not in the business of keeping you employed. Unfortunately, shareholder value reigns supreme in our capitalistic economy and I guarantee you that they are not happy. Your future may look alot like HESS in a few years, i'd bank your bonuses and keep your CV frosty. Sunshine and happiness is for nearsighted fools...

As an employee I would put her in the Hall of Fame for keeping us all employed. After seeing what is going on at the majors and others in reagrds to layoffs she deserves credit for keeping us all working. My opinion is from an employee viewpoint and not a shareholder's viewpoint. Try being an out of work engineer, geologist, petrophysicist, or geophysicist in this environment, and maybe you would agree.
This nomination is clearly because of less competition and competence in the female professional world compared to a man’s world.
A first ballot unanimous selection if there ever was one.
