Does anyone know if we'll get severance if they make sweeping cuts?

@gc do you know if during previous layoffs employees got a percentage of what their bonus would be for the year ahead? How does that work?
@f6 what I meant is that severance for most of us is up to the company. New owners may not be as generous as old regime (and I know most of us don’t think old regime was generous). Also, for those who are still onboard, bonuses and other benefits are also all subject to the company. They can decide bonus levels and who gets what. We’re only guaranteed our salaries for as long as we are employed. Everything else can change.
@a1 what’s voluntary?
Get rid of family ties at CBS - CBS cutting employees that are sole breadwinners while generations of family are still there intact throughout CBS
Has anyone been able to negotiate more money or anything when it comes to Severance or is it set in stone ?
There will be severance but don't be surprised if terms are less favorable than under the old regime. Bonus formulas and everything else "voluntary" will definitely decline.
