RA while on medical leave from work

Anyone here have experience getting RAed while on medical leave (ofcourse according to ibm its not related to medical leave but Reduction in workforce to balance needs of business)

Are they likely to reverse RA if business conditions improve once you are back from medical leave ? is this likely or never happens ? and under what conditions

Not me, but a co-worker years ago. So it's been going on for years. This was in the U S. Was devastating to him and his family. So sad. No empathy at all.

Depends on your nationality. There are exceptions but it’s discretionary. The manager would have to find another budgeted spot for you. In my several years as manager, thats only ever happened for employees of Indian heritage.

I have seen 2-3 people "have mental stress brought on by IBM requiring medical leave". Get the doc etc to vouch for it and go off and while off look for their next gig. It is a racket. I have seen them come back and QUICKLY be driven out by all the various usual IBM tactics, the PIP being the favorite new tool requiring no severance.
