We used to get. They put it with Christmas day most years so that all employees could be off Xmas eve and Xmas day. Then the took it away saying we are giving you a 3rd PT day that you can still use on Xmas eve if you want but this allows others to take it when they want if they do not want Xmas eve. But we assure you that you will be able to use it Xmas eve if you want. LIE LIE LIE. Absolutely not allowed to use Xmas eve because we can't let everyone off that day. TO THE NEW HIRES. This is how this company has always operated. Smoke, mirrors and lies.

No. Celebration day is relatively new. The old floating holiday was replaced with a pt day. We no longer have pt. We had vacation days and pt days and sick days Not pto back then. Now we have pto, life leave and a celebration day. I have been here over 35 years.
its called celebration leave, your manager can over ride "no PTO available" and its still a thing. Why do so many people who dont work here post info like they do? its super obvious.
