Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

They don’t lead - they hover

Every decision is second-guessed, every move questioned. You speak up? They don’t listen. Stay quiet? You’re invisible. It’s all control, no trust. Management isn’t guiding anyone. They’re just micromanaging us into burnout and calling it leadership while ignoring the real issues. Can you imagine how much more efficient and less exhausted we’d be if they just let us do our jobs?

Question needs to be asked who hired, extended and more importantly approved funding for all hiring and promotions within DPA

DPA is a perfect example of home to failed VP leaders across the board!

My boss is too busy playing golf to be bothered with process improvements or removing barriers. They have no clue what is involved with getting anything done and judges you by if he has to put in any work their self.

It’s the culture. Many “leaders” are just tasked with finding your flaws. I have a boss that I cannot discuss any issues or depend on for any help whatsoever.

Wow… well said. I'm just glad I'm no longer there. Someone mentioned earlier that the toxic culture began under our former CIO Seth and I agree. He often walked around treating employees and vendors as if they were beneath him. While I’m not going to make it about race, his arrogance and "bully" mentality really set the tone, and that’s when the culture started to go downhill. Even after he was asked to leave, the damage had already been done and it spread quickly.
