Thread regarding FactSet Research Systems Inc. layoffs

What took so long to fire CEO

fds up 2% over last 2 years and 3% over last 5. And the BOD finally woke up? If they had only read this blog, they would have done it much sooner. Well done to the posters who told it like it is.

While Phil and ELT are certainly responsible - huge congratulations to the absolutely reckless and stupid HR employees who have zero business acumen. They ruined the culture & emptied the talent pool in the company. They are responsible for rubbish, half baked policy making around Compensation, L&D, Talent management and general governance. Without knowing the difference between ASV, Retention, NRR - HR fosters a culture of blame and finger pointing instead of aligning goals for different teams. Harding/ Shan should be enshrined for their sheer incompetence in aligning everyone to a common goal around ASV. How they got paid while no one else did remains a mystery.

Wow - almost 20 percent down ytd :(

Looks at any of the peer companies and no one is close to being down this much

Great job to Phil and ELT team on destroying value and losing talent over past few years.

Huge talent drain in the marketing world, no one good ever stays in that team.

A fish rots from the head down

The elt will be next. When ceo is cut and even removed from bod and replacement is not from current leadership who weren’t even interviewed , they will all be gone

@OP Not sure if the posters here had anything to do with influencing the change in CEO.

Shan/ Harding and their minions are still around, as are some others who made a far greater mess owing their desire to build empires. Countless posts about them while they continue their carnage.
