Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Threat of redundancies but Niteroi to Newcastle labor pipeline

The amount of people coming from Brazil to Newcastle within FPS business is concerning in the current climate. No money but can send 100s of expats to UK? I work within flexibles business at the moment and it's getting worse. Thinking of reporting to government as surely not compliant

Let’s see flex was staffed with woke ideology and now you’re getting upset because BH has increased the woke meter to full blast and now you’re not minority enough?

And you want government to correct the over correction?

By now you should have realised that Baker Hughes have no moral standards or sense of commitment to their local employees, & that they will push for the lowest standards that they can to cut costs, even if that means flying close to the wind.
But is Baker Hughes to blame, or a treacherous UK government that tells it’s people one thing, whilst pushing an alternative anti UK agenda in reality?
Maybe it’s the case that they are looking to displace the work to Brazil rather than displace you in the UK, not that this makes any difference in reality.
I’ll wager that the people in the UK are here legitimately and it’s all above board, so I would tread carefully on the compliance line if I were you.
Perhaps they have used the old, "We can't find the Skilled People" line?
Drop your MP a line with a list of your concerns, if only to establish which side He / She is really on, & CC your Union if you have one.
