Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

It’s fear of losing the job that keeps me here

Sales. I’m working to the point of collapsing. No time to think, let alone look for something better. Management makes sure we know cuts are always looming. I’m starting to believe it’s intentional - keep us exhausted, keep us afraid, and we’ll accept anything.

@OP - Let go of the fear. I held onto mine for the last decade out of three, but finally took a leap of faith and accepted the VRP. It's the best choice I've ever made for me and my family. There IS life after Pepsi.

It’s unintentional ignorance. I’m not sure of your age, but invest as much as you can. You need FU money and that will help you through times of id--tic management. The entire org is mostly in disarray right now and there is zero talk of a clear path to anything. It’s a cost decision. They could fix all of the issues but are choosing not to spend the funding to do so.
