All Ford Credit customer service calls will be handled by the Mexico Call Center. If customer asks for an American or English speaking Rep ( which they often do ) then they will be referred to a team leader or supervisor that is left in the U.S. part of the dept. U.S customer service reps are sc--wed. Also there are no jobs for them to go to unless there are a few to backfill in Wholesale, or ASVL, etc for people getting fired there they they did not want to keep.

Seems like a competitive business model done by many companies. Keeps overhead down and profits up. Well doŋe. Although less overhead in India. Also, the Philippines may make more sense now they have almost 100% T1 connections completed. AI will take over 99% of call centers before 2030. Simply as this.
