I find it hard to believe that many higher CL 26+ downstream technical roles will exist in the near future. You’ll rarely catch a DH ranking their supervisors below the middle. No, they have to work with them daily… they’d rather have their supervisors deal with a disgruntled technical person they supervise but are in the same rank group. This is so obvious to me. Anyone else?

Technical 27+ roles were always hard to find. With the demise of emtech in the west, they are even rarer. Plenty of middle management stewardship roles will get you there though.
