Obviously it’s going to impact low level jobs at Ford? What constitutes low level and replaceable for AI? I am thinking customer service agents, Accounting, Finance, and maybe sprinkle in some tech folks.
Any thoughts here?

AI is going to impact Ford as much as BEV did. In 2022, the company laid off many ICE engineers because:
Official explanations
1- Old dogs cannot learn new tricks (old engineers cannot be retrained).
2- BEVs and subscriptions were going to replace ICE vehicles.
Reality
1- Greed.
Since the BEV dream crashed and burned, and Ford no longer has experienced ICE engineers, the company is talking about outsourcing the engines.
Well, very soon, the company will lay off more employees, because:
Official explanations
1- AI will cook, clean, do the taxes, cut the grass, change the oil, plug the BEVs, wipe the bottom of the Ford family members, catch all thieves, and turn off the lights at night.
2- Many employees will "spend more time with their families", because the company values the well being of the employees.
Reality
1- Greed.
Since AI is not a magical wand, soon Ford will also outsource all the positions lost, while keeping the C-suite (which is the first thing the company should get rid of).
