West coast US and Germany many layoffs HP employees and CWs. A chunk related to shutdown of a project and some in Print support areas.

@OP Anyway, it's usually the wrong individuals who are let go, while the bootlickers continue to thrive — like those so-called MD officers in the UK. What kind of roles are those, really? Basically just making coffee in this day and age.
@OP Not in France – they're making a ki-ling and projects are continuing. In Germany too, there’s not much you can do if, for example, someone has worked a certain amount of time in the company.
Life would have been so much better if Xerox bought HP instead of Lexmark. But don't despair: HP is buying Landa. What can possibly go wrong?
