Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

PBNA field gutted. Who is to blame? Walmart and Kroger are going to fine us and remove products.

From another thread but said very well.

The PBNA field team consists of some of the industry's top talent. If our competitors hired the top 50 ASMs from across PBNA, we would lose market share significantly faster due to systemic challenges internally. The issue isn't our field operations—it's an industry-wide pay problem across Merchandisers and Sales reps. PBNA consistently achieves more with fewer resources. For example, Coca-Cola deploys two merchandisers per store, while PBNA often relies on a single merchandiser, sometimes working as late as 7pm for a last account. Our operations are stretched thin, and the only way forward is to address the compensation at the street and resource gaps at a higher level.

Yep… corporate mentality has displaced bottler mentality…

Everything PBG folks used to despise about those PCNA desk-jockeys… you know who they were - you’d NEVER see these guys in stores or in the warehouse. In-box gnats …. these are the id--ts making decisions that cause customers to shake their heads and facepalm

Let them! That's what this leadership has done to this great company. We're no longer run by bottling people, but by third parties and corporate outsourcers. Money is #1 for Roman and his BOD (retired CEOs and executives), living off this company.

Take a look at all the "formers" living off this company.
