@ac I was notified last Monday. I am SOOOOOOO relieved to finally have it behind me. I'll be even more relieved after my last day. The only thing I'll miss is the paycheck.
Most sources say the bulk of the notifications will be July 7th, aka black Monday.

@a5 My manager said they all had to take a WBT on how to lay off people that are out on leave. Not sure on the whole process, but it sounds like they’re definitely expecting to let people go that are out on leave.
@a7, You will be escorted to your locker to get your personal belongings and then escorted to the door, but whatever you do never look back.

I felt a great disturbance in the workforce, as if tens of thousands of badges suddenly cried out in t-e-r-r-o-r and were suddenly deactivated.
I fear something terrific has happened.
god I hope so, snagged some cheap greece tickets to actually escape and start living life free from this souless grind on 7/11 but if RA drags this out should I just fly out anyways?

How will they notify people who are out on sabbatical, or vacation/LOA during the notification period? Not that anyone else has that answer either as this has been one of the worst layoffs I have been through at Intel. So much for transparency.
