Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Some intel employees are like roaches

I don't know how they do it. They are utterly useless, "chief of staff" types...
I am sure they will survive nuke apocalypse

Let's be real, you got scammed by your co-worker, admit it. Your co-worker took advantage of you to do the work for them because they took you out to pizza, a movie, or Top Golf. You fell for the oldest trick in the book. Maybe next time make sure you stand up to your coworkers and tell them to do their job and refuse the free pizza and beer.

Especially some smug vp’s who spend half their intel hours and travel to do business on their side hustle business

@ap this defmet b-m is just some mad H1B because an org exists that has the nerve to ask them to actually do their job, own their tool, and perform their process

The Chief of Staff position allows manager above them to not have to deal with their direct reports. But you must be sure to put the Chief of Staff on next level down, so you don't mess up the spans and levels.

It was a Dilbert long before Intel came up with this.

What does a Chief of Staff do? Is that a technical position? HR? Management - but they don’t manage right…
