Received a meeting from the EW VP for a mandatory town hall at 3pm (a charge number was given).
Then a couple of hours later a non-calendar invite meeting was sent to what appears to be remote employees supporting the site for 15 minutes at 2pm. I am remote, but did not receive.
Then, just now a 2:30pm meeting was added, seemingly for front-line managers and PM.
Impending site closure? Van Nuys has little work beyond 2025
Were there facilities upgrades happening before being told about the site closure?
@OP You were right. Van Nuys is toast. More locations to follow.
I worked there when our GM told us the we had MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR A REASON…. And to stop trying to improve the process
Doesn't sound good for the 3701 then.
I was there 15 years and did not see one clown there. We worked hard at our jobs and did what we could do to keep the place going. Good people there and good products.
So the toxic clown show is coming to an end. The writing has been on the wall for over a decade.
Not surprising its shutting down, they have run that business into the ground for years. Very incompetent management.

Van Nuys site closure by end of 2026. 3 phases to shut things down:
Reconnaissance product line will be absorbed by Clifton. Radar product line is trying to be sold off entirely. Some people have received notice they will remain on past the site closure if they want. Others that will be laid off can remain for the duration of their time and receive 1 week of pay for every year of service.
