Products did not meet 90% margin requirement
It appears that the company is downsizing virtually every team at FM, and shutting down some of them entirely as they eliminate non-core products.
A lot of labs were spun up as part of the prior strategy to have product in more market sectors, and many of those products failed to get traction so now they are being eliminated.
Probably not a coincidence that they want to sell the site and lease back, but either way if I were at that site, I'd try to be somewhere else.
Similar situation at the main campus, and JF to some extent.
One person in my team is impacted (PEG). According to PEG top boss, PEG notifications are complete except in countries where laws didn't allow such short notice. Cuts ranged from 15 to 20%.
Automotive team
