yes it is Elliott mgmt driving this. Nielsen is broke, they owe Elliott $$ so this is what happens. There is no future for Nielsen in the US. It’s really taking a lot of you a long time to understand this. You will be laid off. Get a new job, the job market is a misery, start looking now.

Well personally I liked the company and the work. And I'm tired of hearing about how the company has no fundamentals.

For retention, speaking of over-40, they really need to devise a plan for dealing with illness. I got sick and had been advised my supervisor to not report it. Naturally my productivity dropped and I got laid off. 0x2bad.

IMHO it's the holding company that's seems to be causing the company to be destroyed/gutted and our data exposed overseas, etc. I don't know enough to know if what they're doing is illegal but y'know... seems to me to be on the shady side.

That's the problem - I signed onto a company that was respectable but left a company that seemed to have no pride in itself.

So in my view, a good (replacement) leadership group could run this company up, not down. I think/hope this is a constructive way to put what other folks have said here.

They won't hire US employees. They will move all jobs to India, Poland and Mexico!

And really, who would want to work for Nielsen anymore!
