The truly unskilled group that’s ruining Intel are all the veterans running our fabs. We’re failing as a foundry because we’re being forced to hire entitled mo--ns whose entire resume consists of whatever fake job the government had to give them.
@ae I was an h1b with an advanced degree in Computer Science. I got a green card and eventually applied for citizenship. I get paid as anyone else for my pay grade and work like anyone else. I had my fair share of promotions much like any one else and never kept my mouth shut.
H1Bs are not cheap, they make roughly the same as an American engineer. You guys know Intel has a minimum pay scale for each grade/geo right?
You can argue that H1Bs are downleveled or passed up for promotion, but that’s a different story.
