Here are the key points from the KRON 4 article about Walmart’s layoffs:
• Hundreds of layoffs just months after expansion – Walmart recently opened a new state‑of‑the‑art office in Sunnyvale in April. Less than three months later, it’s laying off 381 employees from its older four‑location complex on West California Avenue .
• Part of a larger tech‐centric restructuring – These cuts are permanent and tied to a nationwide downsizing of approximately 1,500 corporate roles, targeting technology, e‑commerce, and advertising teams. Internal memos cite needs for increased agility and quicker decision‑making .

@fs - you are all california, you just do not know that yet
So true
@fs Amen to that
It’s sad there’s positions being deleted. But honestly, we could care less what’s happening in California. What ever happens to them, believe me, they deserved it in one way or the other. Or, maybe they earned it one way or the other.
There’s no question California has sunk deeper in admiration and respect than Walmart. What an embarrassment to the whole country.
