I was working at our Austin innovation office last Friday and I saw that there's multiple people going around cubes that no one is in. Btw, They're not even our local IT nor local facilities fixing stuffs. Is there something going to happened next month? I didn't even bother to ask them as I am afraid to know the answer

If they're unoccupied cubes, maybe they're going to assign them to people who were hired during WFH and need a place when they RTO.
Do you have hotel cubes or assigned desks? My guess it is facilities (not all of them “fix stuffs” but take care of allocating floor space and doing build outs) or someone leadership assigned to see how many cubes can be turned into hotels cubes and they are also doing an inventory of what amenities are in the “unused” desks.
