Isn’t it funny how more LinkedIn profiles are filled out vs the employee profiles

People planning was a month or so ago so if you are being asked to update profiles it might not be layoff warning just manager prep. People planning is an annual exercise to identify bench players, slated candidates, and ensure we are delivering on our diversity targets.

A lot of PEP Buffalos are going to head into this storm but won't be coming out of it alive no matter how much courage, leadership and excellence they display.

I was asked to update my profile last year, encouraged to apply to jobs within, but there were none to apply to, had a resume workshop and interview workshop. A few weeks ago, we were told that they were going to keep a certain number of us and we'd find out the wwk of July 14 if we are being let go, if we are impacted our last day is sept 19. This is Frito payroll admins. It only took 5 1/2 years for us to get payroll where they want it to finally give us a date. I have been waiting for my package since they told us in Jan 2020

Confirmed we were asked to update our profiles and talent cards about a month ago! Q2 looking as dismal as Q1 did but senior leadership chugs along spending T&E money like nothing is sinking! They must have their buffalo heads on backwards! I wonder how bad it needs to get before we make leadership changes?
