Microsoft is going through thousands of layoffs right now too and their site isn't any where near as negative as Intel.

The env and culture in Intel is too toxic. The top three managements are the worst of the worst.
Gonna feel like a garage sale
Downvoter is extremely proud of his position as an assistant to the deputy regional manager.
This is a big deal in his mind.
Someone is a die hard Intel lifer that can’t possibly imagine that their once great company is now an irrelevant has-been which isn’t even in the top 10 most valuable semiconductor companies any longer.
This guy probably writes for Circuit.
'I don't believe' the premise of most posts, and by the look of it, others also find most OP to be pushing false narratives.
Not this OP, but most of the others.
Begging The Question is the common tactic, asking a question which is based on a false premise, although it might be reasonable in some situations to ask if someone has stopped beating their spouse.
Sometimes this is posed as a statement but that doesn't make it any more valid.
I don't believe OP isn't the downvoter.
Intel cronies getting paid to eat bon bons watching TV and browsing social media.
Maybe Microsoft people are trolling Intel
The actual explanation is that about 50% of the company works in production.
Not true for Microsoft.
Most of those production hires are ex-military, and as technicians they have vast amounts of time during their shift to sit around and post here and elsewhere.
Look at the low quality of most posts, the cringe humor and ridiculous trolling. Most of those techs only have a high school degree, and only if the site were focused on some high school would the levels of nonsense be higher. There is crazy upvoting as well as downvoting, and all manner of behavior that would get a person terminated if HR knew about it.
I say this as an ex-military tech, who joined Intel with a high school degree and some years of military training. I used my free time to go back to school (thanks Intel for covering that), get a degree and move on to other work at Intel.
Not bashing those who instead choose to stay in place, although I'd suggest using your free time to add skills.
Just noting the typical behavior of a certain class of people.
Trolls, some folks are still mad about BK being tossed out. Probably because it marked the beginning of the end for DEI @ Intel, which is how the C students got hired
@ce yet here you are…
Maybe someone in HR has an OKR to spin up bot farms to downvote here?
I don’t believe how toxic the mad downvoter is! watering device hornet tiger!!
Because so many fab workers sit in the cafe for hours trying to come up with something troll to post, and fail miserably.
Note that is not a question. They are known.
Because Microsoft is a better company?
is this board less positive than another tech office job board?
Oh no!
Some loser spends all day downvoting.
My guess is that it’s one sad lonely guy with nothing else going on in life.
It just makes the voting kind of pointless, which is his goal I suppose.
@a5 those are all valid points but doesn’t answer the original question. Why are the majority of the posts and comments downvoted? A lot of them are just as valid as your post.
Welcome to Intel. Oh what a lovely place it has been to work over the years. No all but…..a bunch of di-kheads!
@a5 thanks Lip-GPT
Third set of layoffs/people moving or right sizing in 3 years. The stock has lost its half it's value and is not recovering in a meaningful way. It's just ugly. Intel isn't getting rid of the Salesforce like Microsoft is, it's just cutting to the bone and hoping for the best at this point.

@OP 1. Lack of Strategic Direction: The absence of a clear vision or direction from the CEO has left employees uncertain about the company’s goals and their roles within it. Transparent and consistent communication from leadership is critical to maintaining trust and alignment.
