2024 Expedition

It’s ridiculous that the Rear HVaC button doesn’t turn it on and off. Instead, it brings up the controls on the screen where you have to turn it on/off. Why not have the button turn it on/off but still bring up the controls incase you want to change a setting? Don’t mKe me press two buttons all the damn time. It’s stupidly designed.

FYI you can repoint the touch screen action to the physical button by:
Note - vehicle must be in park (not moving)

  1. Press the physical button to get the touch screen icon to appear (do not touch the screen icon!)
  2. Touch the upper and lower left side corners of the touch screen (using 2 fingers) - hold for 5 sec.
  3. Release and then press and hold on the icon for 5 sec - then release
  4. Icon should disappear then reappear
  5. After it reappears you can tap and the function should be repointed to the physical button.

I will buy the new Expedition if it's selling for $25k. That ugly SUV still have the same body style after 8 years. It also comes with poor quality, poor fit and finish, poor fuel economy, a bunch of safety recalls, a bunch of warranty issues, still ugly.

Because some people think its neat to control things with a touch screen, so someone decided to create reasons to require the use of touch screens. Personally, I hate touch screens, and I think they degrade the look and feel of vehicles.
