It’s ridiculous that the Rear HVaC button doesn’t turn it on and off. Instead, it brings up the controls on the screen where you have to turn it on/off. Why not have the button turn it on/off but still bring up the controls incase you want to change a setting? Don’t mKe me press two buttons all the damn time. It’s stupidly designed.

FYI you can repoint the touch screen action to the physical button by:
Note - vehicle must be in park (not moving)
- Press the physical button to get the touch screen icon to appear (do not touch the screen icon!)
- Touch the upper and lower left side corners of the touch screen (using 2 fingers) - hold for 5 sec.
- Release and then press and hold on the icon for 5 sec - then release
- Icon should disappear then reappear
- After it reappears you can tap and the function should be repointed to the physical button.
I will buy the new Expedition if it's selling for $25k. That ugly SUV still have the same body style after 8 years. It also comes with poor quality, poor fit and finish, poor fuel economy, a bunch of safety recalls, a bunch of warranty issues, still ugly.
Because some people think its neat to control things with a touch screen, so someone decided to create reasons to require the use of touch screens. Personally, I hate touch screens, and I think they degrade the look and feel of vehicles.
I hate the touch screens. Always have.
Layoff those that designed the ugly Expedition.
This is not layoff related
