Buyouts must be coming.

It's a matter of time with AI.

I have previously commented on this very site thank you very much about the coming menace of IA backwards as some how those posts about that entity with those IA initials positioned the right way are quickly taken down I assume by that previously mentioned entity. My hope for all of us in this and the coming annums is that that previously mentioned enttitty is properly potty trained!

@jw hi! Just so you are aware, there have been. In 2017. Both of my parent’s jobs were at risk at the time. My uncles brother is also the CEO, so I think I can say on pretty decent authority that they most definitely have.

If they are laying off in the hubs, all that WFH is coming into the hubs. Good! Get them all out of our town. Less traffic!

the delusional corporate response ... of course they have lay offs all the time, i seen people given a "choice" forced to retire early or loose everything and be fired, it happens too often.

What is with all these low levels who could be replaced in a day thinking they would ever be offered a buyout? You’re getting fired. Your manager is going to find every little thing to create the paper trail. You’ll be gone within 3 months of them deciding you’re not needed anymore.

No buyouts. Instead they will attempt to make it so miserable that employees will leave. I've never seen this level of incompetence from section management and up before.

I was hoping they’d buyout my AA97 agent contract for at least ten years. Never happened. So I retired on what I saved.
If they won’t buy out older agents with no pension coming, they’re not going to buyout W2 employees they deem completely expendable.

There won’t be buyouts, you MIGHT get 10 minutes to box your personal effects before security walks you to your car.
