@OP all you guys in Finance and HR and IT are doing such a fantastic job that intel is hiring in your departments. Ja----s to even ask the question
@a3 I retired last year and so far getting a fair bit of validation on that decision. I thought at the time that it wouldn't be long before my job was eliminated, even though I was not at risk for ISP. My impression was that was the best ERP package I was ever going to see and so far that appears to be the case. Not sure there will ever again be ISP or ERP offered, at least as long as the company remains fixated on x86.
But I am curious about what changes are happening to Finance, as they were supposed to be shifting to low cost geo when I left, but now it sounds like maybe something more drastic is happening.
DZ says notifications to start in mid July and end around mid August.
Finance - Absolutely, DZ already made a post on Circuit. Will likely get hit hard with many functions being outsourced.
HR - Probably not for the time being, they need all the HC they can get to handle all the upcoming CPMs, exit packages, complainants, etc. After that? All bets are off.
IT - Aren't you guys already outsourced?
Of course not it's Intel silly goose. If anything we're also getting more layers of management.
