Let the Lay-offs begin

@b4 Well I hadn't really given it that much thought. 😂 Only relaying the impact that I heard about today.But now that you have inspired me to assess the strategy here, I'd say that in my friend's org it's every man for himself.
@b0 Cannot believe this. Why are second, third or even upper managers getting cut ? You think it is going from top to bottom? Like FLM fires IC on Monday, second level manager fires FLM on Tuesday ( after that FLM is done with firing the IC), then third level manager fires SLM on Wednesday (the day after SLM fires FLM) etc?
Friend from old group texted me this afternoon, 3 FLMs and 4 ICs cut so far and a second meeting is happening with senior eng for additional cuts. Middle mgrs cutting FLMs to save thier own jobs. LMAO you can't make this cr-p up! Titanic is going down, these 2nd level ppt experts can't code jack sh-t. 😂
First level managers and program managers impacted in Lisa and Gopi's org. I heard a few former co-workers text me today. I'm sure there is more.
IC are not safe. My group got two IC affected out of six, while management safe.
As far as I know all managers can be affected. IC, Engineers, and technicians are safe.
@a7
are you implying that 1st/2nd line managers were impacted or just told who they needed to notify underneath them?
1st line & 2nd line managers notified yesterday. More notifications remainder of the week.
@a4 Yes I am an IC, and I guess it is okay to be anxious when one has as little information as we do. Isn't it ironic that you are doing the exact same thing yet trolling me for asking a genuine question? Isn't this supposed to be a workday for you as well?
@a1 guessing you’re an IC.. spending his workday on thelayoff.
Classic
@a1 If it’s anything like previous rounds, only ICs will get cut and managers will keep their cushy powerpoint jobs
Yay!! ShitTel showing its full colors. Congrats to all ShitTel diplomats!!
Do you know if it's only the middle managers who are getting affected, or ICs too?
