Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

When acting as an "agent" of Avaya (ON PAYROLL) you have an obligation to treat employees and clients/partners with basic respect, and transparent honesty. (SEE CORPORATE CODE OF CONDUCT).

When you DON"T follow such professional standards, and step outside the boundaries of your role (SPEAK DOWN TO CLIENTS or FOCUS ON SELF PROMOTION, 2 most common offenses) than you made your choice and it is the others duty to share and comment. You chose to abuse your role with Avaya.

I will not do this post justice (I have forgotten the rules for HTML formatting, so I may mess up what should be bold or italicized, please forgive), yet there was nothing in this post that i saved that violates this sites rules. THIS DOES NOT BREAK ANY RULES. So, on behalf of the guardian angel who originally shared this, I will try to do my best (ALSO, i only screen shotted it and dont have the entire post so bear with me...)

Literally was CHIEF enforcer and SINGLE HANDEDLY responsible for the dystopian day-to-day culture of

{even though Avaya doesn't have a viable product, yet just wait 6 mos, +6 mos, +6mos and then don't dare ask again as you can only speak when spoken to}

...And if you don't fall in line and surrender all thought and decisions to {cloud/portgolio leadaer} and 'their' people, you are d-mb, unqualified and not worthy of your job (at the Avaya client). Also, your Avaya sales team that you trust and are comfortable with, they are super stup-d and useless as they should have gotten a C Suite Exec in the room, as you, said customer, are beneath my time and not good enough for me to speak with "

I cant even begin to quantify how many opportuntiies ST snubed her nose at in my region. All were VERY QUALIFIED, yet she was surgically focused on landing 2-5 BIG FISH (Like the ONE WF $400 million "so called deal") . She adamantly refused to respect client culture and journey. Deliberately boycotted any clients or account teams who were working on a "Innovation without Disruption"

The worse is she would never just admit "I only want a huge fish as this cloud things is near impossible and i will only work toward something big". She would just humiliate the client and the account team. Disparage them. Tear them to shreds., Then next quarter when her startegy to wait for the big fish didnt work, she would frantically call you up and demand you and your account teams drop everything to get her an immediate audiance with your the same client she previous insulted and demeaned. Oh, and by the time you BEGGED the account team and the client to trust another meeting, she would find another more important client and ignore you. Until the end of the next quareter when she would do it again.

FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW WHO ST is...She held to the keys to any cloud quoting. If she didnt bless it, you were not allowed to talk cloud. Our hands were tied behind our backs. Oh, and she is the smartest person in any room. Always. No one else comes close. Ever.

So Add 1+1 here. When the message from Avaya official channels, and bogus earning reports, is ALL IN ON CLOUD, why is it that the revenue generating clients WERE NOT CLOUD and no one who managed the revenue generating clients were authorized to build a proper and practival "sellable" journey to cloud?

Frustrating is correct. I hate to add on but if you have dealt with Susan Terry and her team it's Frustrating. I am a current AM, and it's scary. We all thought Plunkett was a disaster and id--t, but as a woman you'd like to think Susan would be more professional, she's almost worse and a liar. Just ask the VZ crew, I used to be on.

Ok. So. This is a necessary truth bo-b. Few would argue .
The last post might be deleted so I will summarize.
There are plenty of people who are universally dislikes by the real doerers, yet they seem to have some sort of magic safety bubble surrounding them that they continue to ascend even though they fail in dozens of roles.
So, the post above or below this one is a bit frustrated as they accurately state that the description in the OG post is most accurate and over 100 people would all agree with it.

This post is true and accurate! Susan Terry is an absolute piece of garbage as a Leader hand Human Being, and I know at least 100 people that would agree whole heartedly with this.
