Big cuts to teams today. My entire org was cut. US team.

@ap not sure which geo location are you in . If that’s case great . But most managers are not hand on . Very high level architecture view which most ics will have unless maybe grade 6
To be frank, this is a shareholder move and lip has no clue how to do the strategy any better than pat. He is the grim reaper and likes basketball.

My team (also US based) is getting massive cuts too. Around 50% if rumors are true. And to the surprise of absolutely no one, it is only ICs not managers.
So much for LBT's plan to cut middle management and reduce bureaucracy.

SAI has gotten massively bloated over the past couple years. It's really no surprise LP is cleaning house. Some of her teams ought to move to PEG a few quarters ago and that might've kept a few more jobs.
Not that PEG isn't without its own problems (cough Tiber).
Software AI team ? There are 20 teams and VPs with SAI in job title. Which one exactly?
