feels like every other thread is someone whispering about cloud ops or “infraops” getting carved out by PE... NO confirmation ofc but folks are saying maybe late Q3... some think it’s bs, others think it’s already in motion. martech getting dragged too. bunch of people saying theyve been underperforming forever and now PE wants a peice... not saying it’s true but the noise is getting hard to ignore. heard someone say they’re already prepping decks to make it look less like a trainwreck... then finserv ... might get spun off or merged or who knows what.. that one feels more like wishfull thinking but it’s out there. the place is turning into one long rumor mill and everyone’s just waiting for the axe...
