Rockwell Collins has started layoffs today 6/12/2025 with many senior employees being laid off

Raytheon hates older people. Once you hit 45 you are at risk for a layoff.
- Collins Aerospace is laying off workers in Eastern Iowa as part of restructuring
- 102 employees in Cedar Rapids will be laid off on July 18
- 29 workers in Decorah will also be laid off on July 18**
- Workers at both locations were told about the layoffs on Thursday
- Collins Aerospace called it a "small number" of positions
- The layoff information was posted on Iowa's WARN website
Iowa Warn site has 102 for Cedar Rapids and 29 for Decorah.
Heard at least 4 senior people, few engineers and at least 3 production people. Watercooler talk as I just walked in for my shift.
