Twice in the past 2 weeks my Director has asked a handful of us to confirm HR related info. Things like experience outside of Ford, areas worked within Ford and educational degrees. Director says it has something to do with high potential skills identification. I don't buy it as the info they have asked for is already in the system. Anyone else get a strange request like this? What gives?

It's coming....
I found it odd when my manager was asked to validate my address in the HR system, later mentioning that our LL3 specifically asked about it. Nothing says upcoming personnel actions like HR validating records and IT confirming what equipment people are responsible for.
“In the system” you mean HR system? That’s a joke! Can’t find any history. All of the “improvements” deleted info.
Heads up-my supervisor requested all of that information from our group 2 months before the 2023 cuts. 2 people were let go from our group in that round of cuts.
Ford has no talented employees, good luck with talent planning.
Probably didn't help when they introduced Ford + and deleting lots of history from the archives.
Talent planning. Everyone is naming successors and assessing their team’s strengths/opportunities. I wouldn’t overthink this one. Save the anxiety for “it’s coming” guy.
Yup, on the PD side..supposedly HR systems are not up to date. I'm leary too.
Detach yourself from Ford. They are scammers at all all levels from blackmailing to promotions, to dumping others for their benefits to get promote. DUsh+ bages this is true who they are from their stinky blood and nature.
