There are people in D&D engineering leadership that couldn’t hold a job doing tech support. That was an easy one!
Oh boy 100%.
Sales. All the nepotism started w sales and spread across the company. PMs, accounting, property, the areas. It all started in sales 15 years ago.
@1f8+1jxgm5jqb I’m not one to subscribe to the DEI dog whistle, but that promotion is hard to justify.
@1yq+1jxgm5jqb I guess that individual must not agree with your assertion. Only 1 down vote for the comments regarding them 🤣
@232+1jxgm5jqb You definitely are a Towersaurus Rex. Tower people get paid the most for knowing and doing the least. You guys are all just over paid apartment property managers.
The operations peeps who write 3 page diatribes under the guise of a “question” on the town hall whining about every decision or perceived slight from leadership and D&D. Shut up and go do your work. Maybe then you can reduce your precious MTTR.
@1yq+1jxgm5jqb Not surprised. We had nothing for that individual in Engineering so a position was created in Operations. Just like Clown Castle to move people around to try and save them. People leaders are easier to replace then the actual people who keep the services running.
That individual is also being shielded with Service Now tickets to appear as busy and needed when actual SCN personnel is needed, and not a useless people leader.
@1a1+1jxgm5jqb Yep, the boxes not checked off in that promotion were knowledge and experience.
@p2+1jxgm5jqb That sounds like the person who was moved from Engineering to Operations.
Business performance no question
Security has been and will always be a joke. Just look at the leadership over there and their backgrounds. Roflmao. That is definitely nepotism at work.
Digital Services right there with them. Those are teams that need some serious slashing.
HR. Lol.
Why do we have construction teams or permitting teams when that work has been passed off?
Auditing... wow. They are controlled by the same leader that security is controlled by. The "old" CFO now CEO built those groups so nothing really needs to be proven on that incompetence. Top down failures. They eat budget to do nothing. Their "leader" in Phoenix sure knows how to "work" the men in that office. Let's just say she has some people she controls with the happy spots on her.
WTF is going on in the 1500 building. For about a year it was hardly ever cleaned. Now it’s treated like a hospital. Insight?
Supply Chain.
Agreed. Can't get a straight answer out of any of them and the chiefs mosey around like they own the place. NEPOS.

@jq+1jxgm5jqb Lower that bar more, there is currently a “people leader” who was promoted and given the position to Supervisor to protect them from being laid off. Talk about ridiculous. The Clown Show never ceases to amaze.
