Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Ford is trying real hard to go out of business

So now Ford wants to buy ICE powertrain from other OEM’s. While GM is investing a billion in v8 and I4 upgrades. Pop the hood and hello “power by GM”. Re--rds

Incompetent leaders don’t trust their own employees and always want to outsource. To save their a-s.

@fc Reminds me of there’s a guy on every layoff post that says along the lines of, “if I didn’t hear it in the town hall, it’s not gonna happen!!”

The public still wants an affordable, reliable, convenient car. They don’t care what spins the wheel. It could be rubber bands as long as it works.

The cost and inconvenience of electric cars makes them unattractive.

D-mb move! If Ford just assembles the parts from other manufacturers, what prevents another company doing the same for less, with no UAW chains. LOL.
If Ford uses powertrain from another manufacturer, do the clowns in the C-suite think people will buy the Ford branded parts for repairs? LOL. People will go and buy the parts from the original manufacturer. And let me remind the clowns in the Oval Office, that the profits in the sale of parts is around 30-40%.
I just need a few more years here, but these d-mb clowns are making it hard for the company to survive that long.

"Public still wants ICE."

This is not entirely true. If you heard DF's commentary on the future of mobility you would understand Ford's take on this.

Billy and Jimmy are the d-mbest clowns running a company.

They fired all the experienced ICE engineers for young light weight programmers and EV engineers.

Public still wants ICE.
