The rest of us have just bought some time. More cuts are coming, and we’d all do well to be prepared. I truly hope those affected in this round find new jobs soon, ideally at workplaces where they’ll feel valued and satisfied.

i wish more of my ex-coworkers said something similar to me after i was let go. got a lot of silence and avoidance as if it was something that would only happen to me and not them. never heard from my nice boss again. no consolation, not even a (painful to hear) “thank you for your many many years of service”
It’s a sinking ship get out while you can. I was let go in Sept, you will find a job and it might be better. You can do it
Thank you. I was let go yesterday and I appreciate this. Best of luck to everyone left. And to anyone laid off now or laid off later know that layoffs are a reflection of poor leadership and planning, not your individual performance.
