How much do you guys think will CX jobs get impacted to the point of lay-offs due to AI ? Are consulting skills not relevant anymore ?

What will happen is there will be layoffs in CX to show AI is helping solve cases. Customers will always ask for a live person and not a chat bot. Existing engineers will get burned out. Some will move to greener pastures. Followed by rehiring to handle the load.

None - nobody is going to pay Cisco $$ to consult with an AI bot.
No impact, ratio about LR all depending on how strong your "LEADER". A weak leader get harder hit nothing matter about your role.
If Cisco documentation is correct then ChatGPT can do a lot..
