Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

WFH - Corebridge

Does Corebridge have a different WFH policy than AIG Corp. it’s seems most AIG employees are working 3 to 4 days in the office and Corebridge is 5 days from home. Is there a reason for that?

AIG has put so much debt on the spin off it makes sense to close all the satellite offices and have employees work from home and pay low salaries as they are not coming to office.

I hate being forced to the office 3 days a week. Also, when I wfh internet go way faster then when I'm in office... I would leave AIG only to get minimum 3/4 days from home, whatever they paycheck may be

CRBG hasn’t formally stated a policy, but mgmt is clearly open to flexibility. Some go to the office a few days a week, while others never seem to go in the office and it is just fine. And for new recruiting, most jobs say hybrid and would consider remote.

CoreBridge does indeed have a different mandate. Which is, none.

All I can say is LOL. If folks are coming in three days a week in my office then they must be invisible.
Corebridge is a separate company now. They are doing their own thing, so comparing legacy aig to them is like comparing them to New York life.
