Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

AIG is creating bad employees

Nothing ki-ls morale faster than watching slackers get promoted while high performers plateau over and over again. I’ve seen stars turn into "clock-punchers" after years of overlooked contributions. When effort isn’t tied to outcomes, why would anyone go above and beyond?

The problem is you care too much. You have to find a viable side hustle. Even in RTO, I can punch clock and work off my personal laptop for 2-3 hours on my own business and trade during lunch. Just make the system work for you and stay way under the radar.

Tell me about it I’ve seen the d-mbest people get promoted because they are up their bosses a-s playing lap dog while the talented & quiet ones are passed over for not su-king up to them.
