Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

We need a medal for staying at SF

You can work hard, offer ideas, work late, and still feel like you’re shouting into the void. Most of the tech is ancient, leadership is completely checked out, and the ground under your feet never feels steady. Working here is not just frustrating, it’s utterly demoralizing.

They also promote the clown that talks the most that experienced people don't want to share knowledge which makes sense. Why should I when the clown gets a 30% raise. The clown can figure it out instead of wasting my time.

stop giving the company more than what they pay you for, they only enrich themselves with little to no additional compensation for you.

Tell them to shove their medals! They care less about you.

Tell em to shove their non existent medals. You don't need their plastic front to support reality.

You have no idea how good you have it there. HCL is a horrible company. Go work for them then try to go back to State Farm. Good luck, many of us that were rebadged can’t even get an interview. So, appreciate what you have.

Go work for HCL if you want to see what demoralizing really is. One month with that company and you will appreciate every last dime you earn.

Your medal is direct deposited on the 15th and the last day of the month.

Go out to the rifle range and punch holes in paper. Best stress reliever while getting away from SF.

It sure is demoralizing. Everyone i know hates it here even me. Been here to long to go but already checked out. All of mgmt is checked out. Never seen such chaos. But chaos happens when you put leaders in place that don't understand the departmemt, work, jobs and have never even done that kind of work before.

Until leadership admits their failure to lead the workforce into a productive and happy work environment they will continue to waddle like a big hog in a manure pen.

Spot on! It's a leadership issue. Failure to point out good work and too lazy to lead with fortitude. Chaos why? All about me without a hint of the word us.
