Thread regarding Medtronic Inc. layoffs

It’s amazing how much the workplace has changed

Somewhere along the line, asking someone to correct an error turned into a “tone issue.” I’ve spent two decades in this field, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around how accountability became controversial. If everything’s supposed to be gentle and vague, who’s actually making sure the work is right?

Clearly you don’t know what DEI is.

That’s what you get when DEI is a top priority.

Zero focus on quality of products. It’s all about appeasing Wall Street. Medtronic is just Boeing

There is no meaningful accountability at Medtronic. There is less and less accountability the higher you go up the chain. It's more important to keep people's careers on life support than it is to add value. Skilled talent are leaving in droves because no one addresses incompetent leadership and people who are trying to improve the situation just can't take it anymore.
