Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

The more I work, the more they add to my plate

I really love my job and have always tried to do it to the best of my ability. What is problematic is that Avaya does not know when enough is enough.

The more I work, the more work I get and it has reached the point where working has become unbearable.

Is it their idea to demotivate the best and most dedicated employees? In the meantime, slackers and pretenders don't get more work, they get promoted.

Aposite quote from Office Space. '...It's not that I'm lazy. It's just that I don't care'!

Management can't give work to the slackers because they know they are unable to do it or they will drop the ball/not do it at all.

It just falls on the dedicated workers to pick up the work for the ones Avaya laid off.
