Intel doesn’t have another bad product or missed foundry milestone in it. The hounds are at the gate. The customers, vendors and partners are walking away.
And what does Intel do?…push out the date on panther Lake. Folks, it is not looking good for us.

For the 5 nodes 4 years, no node is quite done. Intel can not use excuse again to wait for 14A, rather than get 18A ready. In past years, people use excuses to forgive and forget failures, and skipped 7nm, 4nm, 3nm. Now when 18A is not good, it is directed to 14A which is many years away. This way of failure, waiting for future, without getting even one process technology ready, is not feasible and not right.

By the time Intel gets 18A bugs all worked out, Elon will be in exile on mars.

Is 18A going high volume production in 2025 now? Should see 18A for Panther Lake. It should not wait for 2027 or 2030. The industry is moving fast and will not wait that long. The AI bo-m is on going.

zero, this is the very last round of layoffs at Intel as a unified entity.

LBT’s spin offs may have layoffs though.
