Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

What's next to be outsourced?

I think even the “essential” roles are no longer safe. Everything is headed out. Keep your resume warm, folks.

@am+1jwqskwmq "Nielsen is a USA company only on paper now". Best way I've seen it put in a single sentence.

The call center. Which has already taken multiple hits of layoff since last year. I know mangers who are already in the process of training the people who are going to replace them.

Agreed. Nielsen will offshore all remaining US jobs to India, Poland and Mexico.

If are US based current Nielsen employee.....you'd better be applying for another job as soon as possible. Don't wait until you get laid off. The job market is horrible. Any possible severance will likely run out before you can find a job.

ACT NOW!!

The end state for Nielsen in a USA C-Suite and a sales office. The remaining employees will all work in Low Cost of Living countries (think India, Mexico). Nielsen is a USA company only on paper now.

Private Equity MBAs only have 1 playbook.
